I used it for a bit back in FF 2.0 days.  They were too slow to update
their packages. 

Now I just push the EXE's out with PSEXEC.  FF then adheres to the new
executables once the user restarts FF.  Works pretty slick.

Has anyone installed these in AD?  The GPO's seem very limited.
Firefox, from what I've read, is much more vulnerability prone than IE.
Isn't it a pain to have to reinstall a new MSI every time these vendors
come out with a new one?  Does Firefox sit there with vulnerabilities in
the meantime while they are updating their install? 

 

Perhaps this should be submitted to the AD forum as well.
