I don't use godaddy because their commercials are stupid. I use register.com because I am to lazy to switch off them and have been on them forever. It's not cheap but their dns has never had any issues, I have a lot of control and their customer service the few times i have needed them was fast and responsive with correct answers (and patient on one issue that was _ahem_ determined to be user error).
For work, they use Network Solutions because, well, they've been on them forever.
