> "At the office, you've got a sluggish computer running aging software..."
Probably true. Maybe he also has a beat-up old desk, in a cube, or an office with 70s decor. Is he willing to foot the bill to buy new everything for the company for him to use? I'm guessing no. > "For years, the big breakthroughs in computing technology came in corporate > IT departments..." Huh? "Corporate IT" has always been synonymous with slow, boring, stodgy, etc. (Because "exciting" doesn't pay the bills.) > "Employers could require workers to sign agreements promising that they'll > back up all their data ..." I look forward to that being implemented right after the company starts letting people do their own electrical wiring, plumbing, and build outs. I'm sure our insurance won't have a problem with any of it, either. I suspect this guy has no concept of "responsibility" what-so-ever. When you're responsible for something, you tend to adopt a proprietary attitude. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
