If you don't have problems with a 2GB limit, www.getdropbox.com<http://www.getdropbox.com> is fantastic. You can put stuff in your public folder and get a unique URL for someone to download it. Jason

Anybody have any recommendations on a pre-canned web-app to allow an easy implementation of an HTTP upload/download page? As I have a static IP, I've maintained a FTP site on my home server for ages allowing me to xfer large files to/from others. Recently, FTP has become more and more problematic (PASV issues, security, differences in client behavior, FW setups, etc...). As such I've often just shoved files on an HTTP page and let users DL that way, which is easier, but lacks upload capability. I considered trying the Windows built in WebDAV support, but that differs significantly client-side as well. What I'd really like is a simple web app that allows for HTTP upload/download to specific directories, honors permissions, and integrates with AD. And it has to be straightforward to install/config, as I'm pretty stupid. Platform is Win2K8/IIS. Any ideas? -sc ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The pages accompanying this email transmission contain information from MJMC, Inc., which is confidential and/or privileged.
