Well, like I said, I never had a DL360 with SATA drives, but the last few
DL360s I did buy had, I think, the SMART 5i controller integrated on the
motherboard.  Again, it was only good for striping or mirroring, but it was
included, as I normally mirrored the drives for the OS with it.  Must be a
difference with the SATA models

I have the same. It relies on software RAID under Windows. Would be nice if
it had a hardware controller.
