Been looking at the HTC Eris. The battery problem is not as bad as the Moto Droid, so I hear.
I have been looking it at a Verizon Corp Store. They have a special where you buy one and get one free. My wife wants the Blackbery Storm, but I thing the HTC Eris is a much better phone. It is small, lighter, and it comes with Google Maps and the next Android update will have the ability to give step by step directions via talkback. And since my wife already has a Faceboot account, syncing up her contacts is a nice benefit. Plus, we can get the phone for $99, minus a $50 upgrade credit, and the second one is free. So, for $49, it is not a bad deal. Thoughts? I think it's enough to ditch the iPhone.
