Let me guess, maybe a Creative Nuvo ? I've got one that sounds like what you describe, and the AAA battery is a BIG plus as they're available anywhere . I use my Creative MP3 player to feed the aux port on the stereo on my motocycle ( Royal Star Venture ) and if I'm on an extended trip I don't worry about recharging somewhere, I just pop in a new AAA battery !
