Why can't that one user POP their email like everyone else?

Is there any other solution for push email and outlook sync that is less expensive than 50 a year? Or am I being to cheap? Keep in mind this is not really business but personal family domain. My wife uses her account for her real estate and can't go changing all her business cards at this point. I'm also nervous over technical assistance when required. Google seems to me not to be a people company but automates everything.
