So mirroring a lot of files over a slow link works just fine using a robocopy type solution. Problem is in my case it takes forever to run after the initial local sync because of the massive amount of file compares. The only way I can see this working is if I use a program to mirror the data that keeps a local DB of file changes and just scans the local data looking for differences then copies just the differences. Basically a backup app that does a differential type backup with local db but overwrites the destination data with changes. Any Pointers?
