G4L (Ghost 4 Linux) is what I use.... it's free/open-source. As for the Antivirus Live malware, check for scheduled tasks. I had one that did what you are describing and it turned out to have several scheduled tasks to reinstall itself. Also, try Vipre Rescue and see if you can get rid of it that way. VipreRescue is your friend! :-)
