Probable?  Possible, absolutely.  I've gone all over the place with a laptop
and haven't ever had issue one at home or abroad.  That said, Truecrypt is
your friend.  Encrypt the whole volume with a ridiculously long passphrase
and be done with it.  Who cares if they copy it at that point.
