Yes we have a small SCOM instance, and ACS is my first choice. Budgets are very tight right now, and I have a feeling that doing this with SCOM won't get budget approval. But something like Log Manager might due to it's lower cost. I wanted an alternative to ACS incase it isn't approved.

Does exactly what I was looking for. Basically download the security logs from our domain controllers and store them in a SQL DB for reporting.
