netmeeting on XP and anything previous. remote assistance on vista You can also use one of the instant messaging programs. I know Microsoft IM works, but of course you have to register each user. I am not sure if you can share your desktop with the other IM's, I have not used them.
And of course the last resort, VNC. It is very clunky compared to the other ways to share your desktop.
