Cleared your reverse lookups on the DNS server? Ipconfig /flushdns on the workstations?

Also I have do the following. Nslookup Set type=A Set D2 Oldservername.domain.domain.org and it gives a reponse, which means DNS still knows about it. I have rebooted both primary and secondary DNS servers. Which should have cleared the cache and still no luck. Looks the same from multiple workstations therefore its not a HOSTS problem. Help?
