Exchange servers mailbox manager.  Configure the settings for each folder to
the number of days you want to keep it & it runs on the schedule you set,
and deletes it for you.

I do 45 days on most folders (including deleted items), 12 months on
calendars/tasks and nothing on contacts.

It deletes between 3 and 6 GB of data per week on my Exchange server.  Users
know it happens and how long they have before something is deleted.
