I've got the Windows PowerShell Cookbook and like it a lot.

If you have no scripting experience at all, I highly recommend Windows NT
Shell Scripting by Tim Hill as a starting point. No PowerShell but it
covers the basics of scripting in a Windows environment better than
anything I have ever seen.

Subject: Powershell book

I would like to start learning Powershell. Our servers are, or are going
to 2008 and R2, so should I go straight for Powershell 2.0, or would it
matter much?

Any books to recommend? I've never done any scripting, so I would need
something to start at the bottom floor.

Thanks,

Joe
