As someone else suggested use the migwiz there is a new one on the MS web
site that makes the transition from XP to 7 a little smoother.  It will even
let you know what programs are missing and need to be reinstalled.  As you
install them it will let you know they are now installed on the new system.
Very nice in IMVHO.
