That's what I'm thinking. Or almost ... DCDIAG fails on "MachineTrustAccount", when I run it from my server ADMNRDC001. However, if I run DCDIAG /e from other DCs in that domain, they say that ADMNRDC001 passes the MachineTrustAccount. So I have no idea what's up, hence that's why I want to demote it. And I was hoping that the DNS would all Just Work after demotion. dnslint and netdiag are happy, tho, from all DCs. And dcdiag only complains about that one feature, and then only on that one DC, and then only if run locally ... Fingers crossed that the upgrade on Sat goes well. We did all 3 ADPREP steps yesterday, and they all Just Worked. So we should be ready to go ... ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
