So, a default Win7 install includes IE on the taskbar as a quicklaunchy kind of thing.
The right click context menus includes additional goodies (launch new IE session, start in-private browsing, recent sites visited, new tab, etc...) I accidentally unpinned this default icon. It immediately reverted to a generic "document" icon (the task bar button remained as long as it's parent IE window was still open, it simply became generic), and lost it's ability to perform those tasks. Selecting "pin" to try and put it back failed with a "can't find program" error. So.... Starting a new IE instance form the start menu, and choosing to pin it's button on the task bar works, but the additional context goodies are now gone. Any ideas on how to make it all better? -sc ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
