Anyone know how to do this in Excel or Access? I've got two columns. Column A has a server name and column B has a version number. There are multiple entries for each server. What I am trying to do is query by highest version number. For example:
SERVER1 2.2 SERVER1 3.4 SERVER2 2.0 SERVER2 4.2 What I'd like to return is this: SERVER1 3.4 SERVER2 4.2 Thanks Chris Bodnar, MCSE Systems Engineer Distributed Systems Service Delivery - Intel Services Guardian Life Insurance Company of America Email: [email protected] Phone: 610-807-6459 Fax: 610-807-6003 ----------------------------------------- This message, and any attachments to it, may contain information that is privileged, confidential, and exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
