Greetings!

Our backup system is out again - failed Adaptec (ancient!) card. We
planned to connect our library to a different server and got a bad
surprise...

Of course, no two sets of devices can ever use the same cable, so no
backups tonight. I am trying to order a new cable. I believe the
connecters, both ends, are "VHDCI". Looking through the catalog, I see
some VHDCI connectors listed (but always with, so far, an HD68 at the
other end).

I also see some described by their manufacturer as "Micro D", some as
"Micro DB68", and some as "68 pin Micro Centronics". It would seem they
are all the same thing as "VHDC1", but I can't afford the down-time of
having yet another wrong cable delivered (and needing to try again).

Are all those assorted "Micro" names the same as "VHDCI"?

Thanks!
