This is news? I have owned a PalmPilot mumble, a Palm III mumble, a Visor Deluxe, a Palm m125, two of the Sony PEG-TG50, and now a Centro. That Sony had some of the best design concepts of any PDA I've used (like a built-in, spring-loaded metal cover). Pimlico DateBk is the best calendar app I've ever used on any platform, bar none. I'm not looking forward to giving it up when the Centro becomes an unmaintainable platform. But damn, Palm is one incompetent company. They have practically done everything in their power to piss off their customers, their business partners, their developers, the press, everybody. What they didn't piss off they just pissed away. Gag. Trivia: The first PDA developed by Palm was the Tandy Zoomer. The OS was derived from PC/GEOS. An application written for PC/GEOS could be run on the Zoomer, and it would adopt all the PDA UI conventions with no code changes. GEOS provided a modular UI. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
