In going along with what Jon said about the right away to drill that ticks me off to no end. There's a local ISP here that's been doing fiber to the curb for years in secondary markets. They wanted to come in here and start running fiber and the first thing the town did was try to charge them a fee per foot they wanted to bore in city limits. That's not even legal, they don't charge the local telco and cable. And yet I agree it's not the government's job to make sure everyone has internet access, no one is forcing you to live where you can't get land based high speed internet. But I digress, lately politics does nothing but raise my BP.
