Heard the story on this vid on NPR.

Dispute over their videos...how to distribute them and pay for them. As for the 
takes it was 60 to 80 I think, they set up the hard parts in the beginning so 
they wouldn't have to redo the whole thing as much.

Apparently, they had done something like this on a smaller scale before. For 
this one though, they had a corporate sponsor or something, so were able to go 
all out.

Imagine the time it took to setup with each take?
