First router I remember for EVDO PCMCIA cards was Kyocera. They were
ultra cool in the day hooked up to a Wilson Trucker antenna up in the
attic. Now they are commonplace...relatively

Now that I think about it my MiFi is my 5th EVDO device and the first
one that wasn't PCMCIA so I guess I've been using it for a while :-)
