My error. I mis-understood what the boss was telling me. He wants to replace the 32bit printserver with a 64bit one, because we have a number of 64bit app servers coming online, and 64bit Win7 clients. And since we would need to install 64bit drivers for them, he figured we might as well go ahead and just replace the 32bit VM that we use as a print server with a 64bit VM printserver. Sorry about that. > > Michael Leone wrote: >> I now need to replace that server with a Win2008 R2 server (since I >> need to hand out 32bit and 64bit versions of the drivers, and it seems >> that adding a 64bit driver to a 32bit OS for handing out, isn't >> supported, I am told), performing the same roles. > > -- > > Phil Brutsche > [email protected] > > ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ > ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ > ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
