I would think, a good question would be, what exactly are you looking for this device to do.
1. WAN redundancy 2. IDS/Web Filtering/AD Support/VLAN support/etc.. 3. Web based/App Based 4. Throughput needed? 5. IPSEC/SSL Support..# supported 6. Budget... Less than 500, less than 1000.. Most of the vendors listed will support all or some of these to varying degrees, but you need to research them to ensure they fit your specific needs. Untangle is a great free product with billable addons, but I have found it to be a little unstable at times and lots of basic features that should just work are missing or have problems. I agree less than 20 and only if they have basic needs, and can deal with some downtime every now and then. Greg From: Andrew S. I've looked at using Untangle (www.untangle.com) for small installations, but I'm not quite comfortable with the stability as yet for anything over 20 users. -ASB: http://XeeSM.com/AndrewBaker On Mon, Mar 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM, Jonathan Kadoo <[email protected]> wrote: Hello everyone, I am looking for a recommendation.
