Hello, world!
In the past, I've mentioned on this list some scripts I've written.
In particular, a set of batch files (.CMD) to run backups (both to
tape, and disk-to-disk), and a VBScript to nag users about files left
open overnight. Others expressed an interest in them. I've finally
taken the time to clean them up to make them suitable for general
release.
The backup scripts are a bit late, given that Win 2000 is
practically dead, and 2003 isn't far behind, and NTBACKUP has been
killed off in newer releases. But maybe parts will still be useful to
others. The ROBOCOPY disk-to-disk script, in particular, just needs
something to dump the Windows "System State" to a file.
I think the Open File Grumbler should generally still be useful,
unless Microsoft changed their APIs. Not that *that* ever happens.
