Just been battering my brains out for a couple of days on a weird problem with our thin clients running Citrix XenApp 5 and 6. Every time the screen locked, users were unable to unlock it - effectively the session just completely crashed. After much wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth, we found changing this Registry entry allowed us to get around the issue
*HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\CtxHook\AppInit_DLLs\Multiple Monitor Hook* *HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\CtxHook64\AppInit_DLLs\Multiple Monitor Hook *The value is 'Flags' and we changed it from 4 to 0 Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else was having the same feeling of bashing their head against a wall. *Note* - I haven't tested this fix out yet on our multiple monitor setups, but I can't help but think it might have a little bit of an effect on that, so please, as always, take care! I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question." ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
