It is listed just as GUID without name

In any case, neither of those are listed in DCOM config anyway, so I dunno. Anyone else? -----Original Message----- From: Ben Scott [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, April 05, 2010 11:38 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Re: DCOM error once an hour On Mon, Apr 5, 2010 at 1:27 PM, David Florea <[email protected]> wrote: > The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local > Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID > {9DA0E103-86CE-11D1-8699-00C04FB98036} to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM > SID (S-1-5-18). > When I follow the suggested MS link to correct the error, that CLSID > is related to Exchange Server, bin/STORE.EXE. One small bit of info: On my Exchange 2003 server, that GUID is "Exoledb Session Factory". (You want to look under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\, for that GUID, at the default value, to get the name.) That may or may not be the same thing as "STORE.EXE" as far as DCOM permissions are concerned. Nothing more useful, I'm afraid, but maybe that detail will help clue somebody in. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
