Agreed 100%. I just thought that since the article about the security guy
was talking about how Macs were *not* immune from malware, I'd post this as
a supporting argument for anti-malware products for Macs. J I also realize
that my Linux box is not immune, however, like Apple computers, I'd have to
do something stupid in order to infect my Linux box. J

You read it, right?  It's a trojan.  If somebody sent an email to this list
every time there was a new trojan for Windows, it would get old quick (as
the "Oh boy, there's a trojan for Mac, yippee!" emails get old to me).
Let's rehash it again: no operating system is immune to malware.  The sheer
number of threats on the Windows platform, though, is massively greater than
any other platform.  If you don't have any AV software on your Mac, you
might get this (through your own stupidity of downloading and executing
something from an untrusted source).  In the Windows world, you can have AV
software on your computer and still get infected from doing far less.
