After last weeks patches my Windows 2000 computers running Office 2003 can no longer open Office 2007 Word or Excel files. I havent tried any other types of files yet. I have tried to uninstall the compatibility pack and reinstall with the latest pack from Microsoft. Still it will not work. Word will try to open the file and then give a error "Word cannot open file". For a brief second you can see the Word is converting dialog down on the lower left of the window. Has anyone else run accross this. Computers running Windows XP and Office 2003 are working just fine. I only have to deal with these W2k boxes for 1 more month and then this happens :(. Figures
