Create copies of the GPOs with the new location, retire server/old
shares, put copies of GPOs in place.

Subject: Software install share

What is the best practice way to de-commission a server that is hosting
file shares for active directory, group policy based software installs?
Or how can one move those shares to a DFS share?
Right now the share is \\server\managed apps\App Name.
We've got office 2003, 2007, Various versions of Adobe Reader and a few
others.
I don't want whatever I do to cause the software that has been deployed
to get removed from the users workstations.
Any advice appreciated.
