So I just attended a CEH class (course is EC Council-certified) through Global
Knowledge, and have a voucher for the exam. It's not going to be my next exam
though, so it will be several weeks before I schedule to take it.

(Will be) Using the provided Exam Cram 2 as well as using the tools referenced
in the class (about 60~) both at home and in a lab environment at work.

The instructor provided some sample questions (which she got from EC Council),
and the course materials included a DVD full of tools and whatnot.

Cheers,
Brian

EC Council controls the C.E.H,
ISC(2) controls the CISSP, CSSLP, SSCP
ISACA controls CISM and CISA
And looks like SANS has about everything else.

Nicely done, sir.  Nicely done.

Who is in charge of that cert? (the real one)  Security is definitely a
nice field to get into, especially in this day and age.

No one is really secure...

If there are any C.E.H's on the list that want to talk to me offline
about their experiences accordingly.  Next Cert I am going for, along
with CISM at the end of the year. I would like to get some insight
accordingly.

That's a serious qa failure.

And it's rather annoying that they can't remove the bad dat file from
the internet in a timely fashion.
