I just spent 2 days in a large west coast state, at a very large private university where they will be implementing iPad in one of their very expensive colleges. The vendors that supply resources for the students already have apps available and the other apps will be run via Citrix and the Receiver for iPad. There may be over 500 iPads in use when the project is complete. All I can say is the I.T. Dept. loves them, the professors love them, the vendors love them and I will assume the students will love them.
