Heh. I sympathize, both with you and the user. Personally I think most of what's been done in Vista is change for the sake of change, and all it really does is increase costs. Yah, individually the costs are small, but times the millions of computer users, that's a lot. All so Microsoft can say Vista looks so shiny and new. But then, lots of people are impressed by shiny and new, so maybe it's a valid biz strategy. Vista has a lot of goofy bugs. Some examples: If you enable the GPO option to force the classic shell on, and then rename a file, Explorer will switch to point-to-select/single-click-to-open mode. When saving a log from Event Viewer, the "breadcrumb" bar gets filled with garbage characters and doesn't work. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
