Member server is OK. Having it on a DC gives other TS servers auto-discovery
capability is the main thing I am aware of for having it on a DC, but I think a
DNS entry does the same thing.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Subject: Terminal Server License Server - Windows 2008 R2

Hello,

I am trying to locate information on Windows 2008 R2 License Sever placement ?

Can it be on any member server or does it have to be on a Domain Controller ?

Thank you

David
