Desktops is done by a different group. We currently are a Novell environment, with a Windows application domain. I personally have both of my machines in the Windows domain, and doing updates myself. I think the desktop group has the clients automatically downloading and installing updates directly from Microsoft. Most of our desktops are not in the Windows domain.
