I don't think backing up ginormous image files is a good fit with these online
backup sites. They're better for backing up specific data like stuff from My
Documents or a backup of your e-mail or anything else that can't be resurrected
by re-installing your operating system or applications. Would you want to take
a couple of weeks to download an image to restore your system?

I'd just get an external hard drive, put your image file on that and store it
somewhere safe. Then use an online backup site for data files.

I use Carbonite on my PC, my Mac and my Dad’s PC. Works great, has saved my
dad from “stupid user tricks” several times and you can now access your files
over the Internet. Isn’t an Acronis True Image backup file huge? It took 21
days for Carbonite to backup my initial 70GB of data from my main PC.

HI anyone here use carbonite, I wondering can I set it up the carbonite pro
(online backup) version to backup a folder that only has Acronis true image
backups? So after a backup is done, it will offsite and stored at carbonite.
