Ahhhh you discerned the hidden meaning of my email. :)

This is the beginning of our Win 7 roll out and you are certainly right. 
Sysprep is the best way to 'modify' the default user profile so that is reason 
enough for me.

You should still be running sysprep. There are a whole host of scenarios still 
where duplicate SIDs will bite you so...
