There is actually a hotfix that helps to address GPO mapped drive issues for
Win 7. The file name is 399215_intl_x64_zip . It relates to KB976494 and
applies to a Win 7/Win 2K8 machine in a Windows 2000 domain.

Worked great for me....ymmv!
