Thanks. That's how I do approvals also. Only what shows up by filtering for Unapproved + "Failed or Needed." The 218 figure came from the synchronization email the WSUS server sent. "The following 218 new updates have been synchronized to VM-WSUS since Tuesday, August 10, 2010 7:11 PM (GMT)."
