I purchased Mastering System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 and had some trouble with it. It left out critical steps that made it difficult for me to get things working. I have since purchased System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Unleashed. I haven't had much time with that one but it seems more detailed. In both cases they give way more information than you need in some areas.
