I'm looking to use backblaze.com for my wife's computer. It's unlimited storage for a client and will do pruning of old backups. For a server at one of my remote offices I'm using MozyPro.com which has been rock solid.
If you're looking to backup to a USB drive, I'd recommend a robocopy script of some sort. You could copy out what you want to a staging place then compress it for putting on the USB. -----Original Message----- From: justino garcia [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, August 18, 2010 8:24 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: backup solution, for windows 7 client to usb drive?? I was thinking of gfi home backup, and some type of offsite backup. Does gfi clean after it self, or does it require user interaction? Thanks Any other backup software, that will clean after it self? After x number of backup it only keeps one month worth. -- Justin IT-TECH ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The pages accompanying this email transmission contain information from MJMC, Inc., which is confidential and/or privileged.
