Depends on which version of AVG you have
I have 100 users with AVG 8.5 (at the time of testing VIPRE Enterprise) The uninstall agent for AVG wouldn't work on uninstalling as part of the install of VIPRE Hopefully they have fixed it with 4.0 Enterprise.. Check the website or give support a call they may support automating the uninstall of AVG.
