Dude, the lists are what keeps me sane. (Arguably, I'm not; but don't call me Shirley.)
Between writing, editing, designing, implementing - do you know what the biggest part of IT is? It's "hurry up and wait". I start a VM install, start a patch application, start a backup before installing a SP, start installing a SP - and what am I going to do for the next 15-30 minutes while all that happens? It's truly one of my failings. I can only concentrate on 3-5 tasks at a time. So...in the downtime, I'm going to go give pithy answers on newsgroups and mailing lists and forums. :) Regards, Michael B.
