Now see, I read your response completely wrong there at first. At home I have the computer desk. It's L shaped, 12 foot long with a 4 foot arm. Covered the whole thing with White Board (nice flat surface, cheap and easier then poly). It has two old systems for my kids and my main and hyperV system. My wife uses the old laptop from her chair.
Kids often watch their shows from their computers or play their games in the half hour before bedtime. So, yes, I find the computer is replacing the TV which is a good thing.
