Funny thing is this USB wireless dongle works fine on other computers (although I have not tried it on my Dell Latitude from work, which connects fine using the on-board wireless.) Neither the on-board Atheros chipset nor the USB dongle will work. What happens is the pop-up comes up showing that it's connected, but it never finishes getting an IP before it drops the connection. Even hard-coding an IP address doesn't help as the connection lasts less than 30 seconds, even with a hard-coded IP address. And no, the Windows firewall is NOT enabled.
