I know others have been recommending more expensive models, and you won't go wrong with them...
But we needed to replace an aging and failing Belkin 8 port KVM, and were weighing the pros/cons of something more expensive vs the cheap 16 port Trendnet USB/PS2 KVM... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817403059 This unit is not fancy, and the cables are not standard (They mix the VGA/USB/PS2 into a single DB15 connector, but other KVMs do this as well). But it has worked flawlessly and the price is exceptional. We were willing to risk it being flaky for the price, and replacing it with something better if it did fail us.
