The important part is schedule.  As in they will be patched in a timely
manner.  Only the time of day is negotiable, sort of.  As long as you are
not working at 2am because of it.

AV.  they will have it.  It will be updated.

But my stuff won't work if 'patch' breaks it.... "It's a security patch,
your stuff will need to work with it"
